I really liked this story and how it was told. The dystopian setting wasn’t solely focused on how shit the world has gone, but it tried to hold onto the hope for a better future. That's not to say this book isn’t dark, there is some classic end of the world behavior that goes on. The multi perspective aspect also added to the great storytelling because you can see how different parts of the world can stay connected despite losing most communication devices.

I will say with how focused this book was on ‘The Center’ it definitely didn’t add much to the book itself. A cult is an expected outcome of an apocalypse, and it's usually a big part. The Center in this book felt small and insignificant, despite the outcome of its members.

Overall, this was a good book and I would recommend it for people who want a more lighthearted end of the world book.
