Fast paced and interesting thriller! Lots going on and lots to unravel. I am really intrigued by the character Evie and her background, she’s so secretive and I would really like to know what happened and how she ended up where she is. Will this be in the next book? Hopefully!

Cyrus was also an interesting character and very interesting to see a psychologist as the MC. Although, sometimes I found him a bit abrupt and his decision making to be rash. He didn’t seem to think a lot through! However, it was nice to see his relationship with Evie and watch her slowly grow more comfortable with him.

Overall, the plot was interesting. I did have some theories and I was half right but didn’t expect it to play out the way it did.

Left very open at the end which was a bit “meh”. I realise there’s a sequel but I felt it could have been wrapped up a little more. That’s just me being picky though!
