Little Women
by Louisa May Alcott
So it took me just over two weeks, but I have finally finished reading Little Women, by Louisa May Alcott. I have to say I love it with all my heart, and I'm so sad that I finished it. I stayed up late last night to finish it and once I did, I couldn't sleep. I just stared at the ceiling, because I didn't know what to do with myself.
I did struggle a little with the way it was written just because I wasn't used to it. I mean I spend most of my time reading Wattpad stories, so reading something like Little Women was different and my brain just took a while to ajust to that style of writing. But I was in love with every word.
I don't think I have a favourite charcter because I love them all so much. Meg is so sweet and an amazing role model to the other girls, Jo is has a kind heart, but she doesn't like to show it, wee Beth is just an angel, and Amy reminds me of a little china doll. Laurie is so funny and charming, even though I did think he was a pointless character to begin with.
