often overlooked gwen roman is content living her single life; until, ash waylen, her long term crush sits next to her in a crowded lecture hall and acknowledges her existence. unfortunately, ash is recovering from a broken heart and isn't ready to jump into something. they can't seem to stop gravitating toward each other though, so surely something is bound to happen. 

i had a fun time reading this!! honestly, i would die for gwen, i love her that much!! i was surprised that this was amber paige's first contemporary romance, because i feel like the contemporary vibes were just right. forever crushed is definitely fall vibes and i think it served the college setting well. also, let me say that i am so glad for the mmc mental health rep and the two of them working to overcome their trauma. i loved how deeply all the characters cared for each other. this was a sweet, steamy, swoony good time, and i can't wait to read chrissy's book in the future. i feel like this gave icebreaker x only when it's us energy xoxo
