Trigger warnings for this book: suicide and death, eating disorders, ghost possession. 

I wasn't expecting this story to be as solid as it was. It dealt with actually heavy topics in a light but meaningful way. The side characters were good supporters for the main character and developing her story of growth and overcoming difficulties. Our main character was empathetic, strong, and fun. I thought the story's atmosphere felt solid and cohesive. Choices made felt impactful and clearly linked to prior choices made. 

Overall just a great story. Maybe less complicated than some others. But honestly I think that helps the whole thing be very cohesive and solid as a story.
