Sugar sweet and very quirky. I felt like the daydreams, while whimsical, took me out of the rhythm of the story quite frequently. I definitely skimmed them as much as I could to limit the amount of cringing they caused (sorry -- there's quirky and then there's quirky. it was a little much). If you're a sucker for non-verbal romance building, through notes or acts of love, then this might be a great story to pick up. Some might say that the chemistry wasn't clear, but I think the fact that they both wholeheartedly embraced these non-verbal acts says so much about their compatibility -- I adore them together.

I loved the innocence and resilience of them both. I would keep Wes and Maybell in my pocket if i could because they are just the cutest, even if their story is a little slow and forgettable.
