I felt like I was reading a cheesy romcom that Netflix could soon adapt (kinda getting Kissing Booth vibes). The only thing that bugged me was that Hallie and Eli were considered best friends but we didn't really see their friendship play out? I feel like we saw more of that dynamic between Hallie & Viv.
