I can see what this was a National Book Award Finalist. Nimona, is Nimona. No idea exactly what she is, but she is a shape shifter. She can be a fox, a cat, and even a dragon. Mostly she can be a vulnerable teenage girl. She joins Ballister Blackheart as a super villain sidekick, and she is really good at her job. Too good. You see Ballister likes to be a super villain but does not believe in hurting innocent people. A Robin Hood if you will. What makes this book unique is the world that is medieval with sorcery and swords, and well as new with digital security doors, NEWS, and even video conferencing. All in all this book was a pleasure to read.
