The Wives by Tarryn Fisher
3.0

Okay, The Wives had some serious wait, what?! moments that caught me off guard in the best way. There were twists I truly didn’t see coming, and I’ll give credit where it’s due—Tarryn Fisher knows how to mess with your mind a little.

That said… I don’t think this book quite lives up to the hype.

The premise is super intriguing (a woman sharing her husband with two other wives she’s never met??) and I wanted to be fully hooked, but the execution didn’t deliver the punch I was expecting. Some parts felt a little too far-fetched, and by the time I reached the end, I was more confused than satisfied. It left me wondering if the twists were clever or just chaotic.

Overall, not a bad read—just not all it’s cracked up to be, in my opinion. If you’re into psychological thrillers with unreliable narrators and don’t mind a slightly messy plot, this might still be worth picking up.

Have you read this one? I’d love to know if you were team “mind blown” or team “meh”
