Mean Streak by Sandra Brown
5.0

Sandra Brown never disappoints. Her books are fast paced thrillers that are hard to put down. In this title, you are constantly asking who is the bad guy, who are the good guys, and why would you do something like running rough terrain by yourself in bad weather. The good Doctor Emeroy decides to train for a marathon by herself in the mountains to build her endurance. She never finish her run, and instead wakes up in the remote cabin of a man who refuses to tell her his name. She has a concussion, and head wound, and just wants to go to the nearest hospital, but Mr. Mountain Man will no let her go. There are multiple story lines in this book, but they all converge together for an entertaining, and exciting read.
