Big Little Spies by Krista Davis follows Holly Miller who is helping host a charity event in her family's hotel. Meanwhile in town, the local retired judge suspects someone has a listening device in his house and is playing pranks on him, including taking his dog. He hires an out of town pet detective who is later found dead but the dog is found safely alive. When people start going down due to poisoning like the one the pet detective died of, Holly must find the killer.

This is my favorite of all the Paws and Claws Mysteries so far. I really liked visiting the town and getting another glimpse at some of my favorite cozy mystery characters. I thought the book was entertaining the whole way. I was surprised at who the murder was so that is always fun. Overall, it was a really fun read and I recommend it to anyone who likes cozy mysteries. I think it would be okay as a standalone but it might be even better if you read the whole series.
