This is the kind of book that makes you think and I'd probably get more out of it if I re-read it and I probably will read it again someday in the future but rn I don't have the time.

I don't really know how to describe this book. I think the comparisons to [b:The Secret History|29044|The Secret History|Donna Tartt|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1451554846l/29044._SY75_.jpg|221359] and [b:If We Were Villains|30319086|If We Were Villains|M.L. Rio|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1480717682l/30319086._SY75_.jpg|45743348] are justified in that this book has similar vibes and a lot of philosophical, thought provoking aspects.

Also I was told this is "more vibes than plot" which I somewhat agree with. It's a slow paced book, and I think it was written mostly for the dark academia aesthetic but it does still have a plot.
