This book follows our main character Cassidy Blake who can see/talk to ghosts. Plus, her best friend Jacob, is a ghost👻

First thing, I really loved how the story started, and progressed with simple language (It's a middle-grade novel, soooo.... ) The friendship between Cassy and Jacob was strange yet really heartwarming. How they support and be there for each other during hard times was really something good to read!

The second thing was how the relationship between Lara & Cassy grows and how Cassy starts learning about what she has to do with her powers, and how she gets into trouble with the same! Definitely teaches the readers about bad choices😂

Now, the only thing I didn't like was the ending! Okay.. It was not a cliffhanger.. But it did not answer all my questions! I still have so many questions left, and I am sitting here like,' What just happened???'

Overall, I loved the plot, the story was really cutishly horror. And if you are someone who doesn't like gory stuff, or you want a light spooky read, or someone taking a break from all the hardcore gore, I definitely recommend this book to you!!
