I picked the book because I was looking for a short read. That meant compromise on full character development which I was okay with.
But the hero was such a disappointment. There is hardly any change in him. I hated him in the first 30 pages but continued to read to see how the character would develop. Not a chance. There was none. The writing is decent but the storyline, sigh! The writer needs a better hero.
