This book was great! I am usually more of a thriller/crime reader, this was a breath of fresh air. The characters are so fun, no one is written in a way that tells their whole story. So you just want more. I am excited for the second book (hurry up May!). The love story is easy to love and even though you get the the typical tropes of romance novels its in a real way, a way that doesn't make you hate it. I love the descriptions of people and places, learning little bits of culture, all while learning hat change can come in the most unexpected ways from the most unexpected people.

I'm adding more Emiko Jean to my TBR list. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
