Twigs and Stones by Joy Cowley
3.0
sad tense

This is about a snake and lizard that live in a hole together and decide to put a nameplate over their door. But changes to the names on the door and caused problems in the friendship. There’s also this running line on how sometimes friendship has a capital F and sometimes it has a small f. I understand the sentiment, but it seems misplaced in this book. This was not a fun read. I’m not even sure there was a lesson in here. The artwork is OK but seems straight out of the 70s. This book is fine. It will have its readers but overall, this book is not for me.
