I liked this book.
I really did.
It was a very easy read, which is why I flew through it in 2 days. A very good book to get me out of a reading slump. It was what I needed.
But it doesn't earn 5 stars.
This story is very similar to Anna and Lola, but it's just not quite as good. I've spent a few days trying to work out how to describe it, but to be honest I'm not sure why it's just not as good.
I think the problem with this story was Josh - I don't understand his character at all, and I don't understand all the things that he affects. and because he's one of the main characters, it means I have an issue with the core of the story.
I also didn't like the base of Peter and Lara Jean's relationship. I didn't think that was a good start.
And in my opinion the ending could have been more satisfying.
Other than that, it was good!
