This book had no business being so good.  But it was.

It hit all kinds of nostalgia moments for me while also being very in the moment with what is currently happening in Florida.  I don't normally enjoy a lot of current pop culture in my books, but again, what is happening in Florida is in no way shape or form pop culture, it's history.  Making me enjoy it even more.

The amount of millennial nerd jokes hit so good while also bringing a lot of representation for current issues.  Mistreatment of queer people, inclusion of non-binary individuals, and women's health with the endometriosis representation.  

As a massive fan girl myself, I loved everything about this.
