The ending of this book was genuinely crazy to me like out of the whole series this one threw me the most. When I left a review for The Wicked King I literally just said “Girl… fuck Cardan”… I now retract my statement. I love Cardan I’ve never said anything bad about Cardan. The real star of the entire series is Jude though. There was not a moment especially in this book where I did not like her. She’s such a great character to me and I found myself agreeing with her almost every time. She’s such a strong character and I love the way she carries herself and how she has truly been such a fighter in all ways.
