The Book of the Heart by Carrie Asai

I can't believe after five books of Heaven whining about how much she likes Hiro, she decides he gave her the ick and then he dies in front of her. Also, what a bullshit fucking cliffhanger. Now Heaven is attracted to Teddy and is going to run off with him and her birth mom to Seattle? And there's no resolution on her father or stepmom? Such garbage.
