Oh Edin..

Finally we get to see more of the purple monster we met in Soul Eater and it was just everything.
I was not expecting Edin to be all that he is.
Patient, funny, possessive AF, and emotional. His feelings towards Hunter were not expected and it didn't show right away, it was a slow build up.

The slow burn of this book is what made it all that more great. Hunter & Edin are two different sides of a coin but they are pretty similar in ways too.
Hunters realization about Edin was slow and not built up too fast. The slow burn of this book and these two is all the more interesting.
Add in that we get to see Danny & Wyn again for quite a bit and then when it all blows up and when Hunter decides to embrace or distract as he says with Edin...phew the spice that follows is mind blowing.
These two were honestly not what I expected, Hunter was a dick at the beginning but then again being in the military changed his views until he meets Edin. Edin changes things in Hunters mind slowly but surely until there is nothing left but the two of them, oh and Charlie.

I was not ready to leave these three at all.
I have questions, so many questions.
Charlie..does charlie get a book?
Will we see more of these characters in the rest of the books?
Which monster is next?
