Harbinger, Vol. 6: Omegas by Khari Evans, Joshua Dysart
2.0

Another meh volume of a series I once really enjoyed.

This series ends on a whimper. Peter is still blaming himself for all his weakness in life. It's true, he did cause a lot of horrible things, but usually not on purpose. That would fall on Toyo. So what does Peter do? Leave all that behind while Toyo simply decides to challenge war on the entire world. NO more games, no more hiding, he is showing who he truly is. Everyone is in fear, and they should be, he is nearly unstoppable and someone like Peter gives up there's no hope.

Good: I enjoyed the fact Peter dwells on his past actions. The fact he doesn't just accept what is happening is nice. I also like Toyo basically telling the world "step up" and he's ready to fuck shit up.

Bad: The story itself starts off interesting enough but hits a roadblock around half way through. Just a ton of talking, really about nothing, and Peter fails to do anything which makes it just boring. Then the series ends with a flashback, origin story, that NO one asked for.

Overall this series fails to bring anything new to the series and continues it's very very meh feeling. I'll try the first volume of the next series titled Imperium, and hope it's more like volume 1-2 of Harbinger. A 2 out of 5.
