Under the Eye of the Big Bird
by Hiromi Kawakami
3.5/5 gifted by the publisher
More like interconnected short stories. Deliberately vague and jumps around in time. I didn’t fully understand what’s going on until the last two chapters and they are phenomenal & absolutely mind blowing. Definitely a book that rewards patient readers and those who love “weird” stories!
I love sci fi that discusses humanity. In this case, the book asks: can we understand humans through technology humans created?
