I grew up watching Little House and have been fascinated with Melissa Gilbert as an actor. I admire her journey of leaving "Hollywood" for a simpler life with her now husband, Tim Busfield. COVID-19 has impacted the whole world and this gave Melissa the opportunity to share her "country" experiences while self-isolating during the pandemic. I was not aware of Melissa's political views prior to this book. I applaud her for speaking her mind against the injustices that occurred during Trump's time in White House. This book was not overwhelmed with politics, as some reviewers have indicated. It was mostly about Melissa's own experiences, the good and bad. I am definitely interested in reading her other book and look forward to future books from Melissa.
