Assassin's Blood
by Natasha Duncan-Drake
I was hooked into this story and the character Kira immediately. Natasha Duncan-Drake does a fabulous job with creating Kira’s voice and personality so that it nearly jumps off the page at you. I loved her sarcasm and frankness. She’s a fun character. Plus, she’s part werewolf, part vampire. How cool is that? Oh, and she’s an assassin, which doesn’t just make her cool but badass too. When she sets her sights on a really bad guy, a mobster, things get exciting.
Natasha sure packs a punch with her action scenes and vivid descriptions. Finding out the secrets behind Kira’s existence was fascinating. I even learned some new things about vampires and werewolves.
5 stars all the way!
