I've been wanting to get more into audiobooks and history, and I was reccomended this one.

The book was a lot less biased than I expected it to be, considering Bill O'Riley's background. The book doesn't directly prech to the reader, but uses more of an approach like "Jesus influenced the world in his life and death".

I can't speak for the historical accuracy of the book, seeing as to how I cannot even remember what happened last year, so I'll just speak as a reader who went in a little blind to the surrounding history of Jesus's world. The book was educational and refrenced scripture and historian's words. It's refreshing to see someone refrence other historians in a biography of Jesus.

However, the book bounced around a lot in history. We went from Julius Ceaser to Cleopatra to Pontius Pilot, which felt a little disconnected at first, but the former refrences kind of lead us to when Jesus is actually crucified, but only kinda.

Overall, not a bad book, if you want a fairly unbiased history of the crucifixion of Jesus, then I'd say check this book out.
