Let's start with how much I hate love
triangles, and how scared I was of dreading this book due to it, but it was so well done I didn't mind it at all! I understood Xingyin decisions every time and she honestly did the best with her situation. I loved Xingyin, she's a badass female character, and the friends to lovers trope will always win me over. The book is full of epic fights and Chinese mythology, unexpected plot twists and also extremely adorable. It helped that the
