-1 for doing the stereotypical “lesbian relationships never last” and making the lesbian become a nonexistent character

-1 for queerbaiting Connie and Ness’ relationship, giving us a little bit and then making it as heteronormative as possible

-1 for hinting at Ness wanting to replace or become Connie with the hair and the perfume but for some reason not going any deeper into this? It had promise to become an interesting plot point but was just brushed aside

There is no thrill or mystery in this book. It’s quite clear what happened from the start and nothing took me by surprise
