Never Greener
by Ruth Jones
Read through gritted teeth as the highs and lows of infidelity played out by the main characters Kate and Callum left me feeling like I was part of their sorded affair and cruising alongside their paths of destruction. Perhaps, some might argue the sign of a good writer if I felt that way?
I struggled through, whilst it was certainly easy to read and kept up my interest, however the subject of infidelity had left a sour taste in my mouth. I would say 90% I read nonplussed yet the final 10% I felt finished with a pace and a punch, such a shame the whole book wasnt like that throughout.
