I quite enjoyed this book. It’s been on my TBR for ages and. Finally found time to tackle it. I would say thought that it goes in fits and starts. There was some points where my mind wandered and it felt a bit slow. I felt like I wanted more of the intrigue and conspiracies. The budding romance was great, I loved watching it progress and can’t wait to see where it goes.
This doesn’t have a young YA feel, there is violence so be aware of that, but if fantasy is your thing, I’d give it a go!
