Thank you @dartfroggco, @the.jeannette.walls @scribnerbooks and @macmillan.audio for copy of both the book and audiobook.
I have not read too many books about the prohibition era and this was an interesting take about a powerful family in a small town. The story focuses on Sallie who is a middle child and looked upon as a nobody since she is female and not first born. The story is narrated by Wells and she does a good job bringing the story to life. There is a lot of characters and it took me awhile to get them straight. There is also a lot going on and I've enjoyed the story to be more fleshed out and more character development.
