Grave Peril
by Jim Butcher
dark
mysterious
medium-paced
I've been frequently told that the books get better as the series progresses, but I actually preferred the last book to this one. This one I found a little hard to focus on and it didn't keep my attention as much.
I did enjoy getting to learn more about the world and characters. I am also curious to see where some of the storylines go, and it's interesting to see that there are loose threads and I like the idea of an overarching kind of story and not just stand alone novels.
Murphy was also so much less aggravating this book, and I enjoy that and hope to see her character flesh out a bit and I think she could become on I like.
