The book was beautifully written.  The info about all of the plants and animals was fabulous.  The story of family was intense.  Everything about the book was fabulous until the ending.  It totally ruined the book for me.  Everything up until the end seemed to all of a sudden mean nothing.  Reminded me of how I felt after reading Four Winds.
