The first and last stories in this interconnected are incredibly powerful and emotionally wrought, but I found that the middle stories all sort of blurred together. This may have been heightened by the fact I listened to the audiobook, and the interconnectedness of the stories. Usually I love a nonlinear narrative, but I'm wondering if this would have worked better for me as a novel. It ended up a tad repetitive, though I am glad I read it for its themes.
