This was solid! Not anything I'd immediately recommend but it had some good moments if someone wanted a specific book rec! It didn't really hook me until about 3/4 of the way through which isn't ideal but once it got me it was good! The twists were interesting enough to keep me going enough to finish this one.

I don't see myself picking up book 2 though.
