Warrior Fae by Susanne Valenti, Caroline Peckham

“The past has nothing else to say, but the future is an endless song,”

I struggled reading this. I don't know if it's because of the anxiety of knowing it was the last book or because there were a lot of parts that just seemed to drag.

Elise acted a bit cray. I know it was her grief, but I absolutely hate it when women mistreat their men. Especially men who will literally die or kill for you. She had more than one crazy moment and I was not impressed.

What I was impressed with was muther fking Eugene Dipper. Ummm where is his story?? Inquiring minds want to know.

I knew who King was by book 2. Or should I say I had theories and they came true. That was exciting however I wish I had MORE if that makes sense. Going against him was like beating a dead horse. There was stand off after stand off and the final end was a bit anticlimactic for ME. But I could be jaded.

Ryder was my favoritest King in this book. He put my heart and emotions through SO SO much. Thank glob for Lion King references that helped me from going unhinged when shit hit the fan.

I posted in a reader group and I feel this is important to mention in my review so that who ever is reading can Google search this and tell me I'm lying. But don't the Kipling Brothers give you McPoyle from Always Sunny in Philadelphia vibes?? Look that shit up and tell me I'm wrong?!?!

If I played FK, Marry, Kill with these men, I would Marry Ryder, FK Gabrial, and Kill Dante. Leon would be watching and laughing at it all until he realized Dante was for real real dead then he'd kill me. But totally worth it.

Overall, I really liked this series. It was unexpected, bad ass, funny, sexy, dark, and pulled at my heartstrings. The last 5 chapters were perfecto. With the exception of my boy Eugene I feel like all answers were provided and I can go to sleep knowing Elise and her Kings all lived HEA.

My original plan was to jump over Zodiac Academy and go straight to Rosa's story. BUT due to events in this book I shalt be doing so.

I highly recommend this series.
