The Lady and the Orc
by Finley Fenn
My fellow Steam Queens and I chose to read this book for Monster May and I must say, it was an interesting one.
Jule is stolen from her home and abusive husband, by pillaging orcs and taken to their mountain as a prisoner. She is taken by the orc captain, Grimarr and is thrown into a back and forth with herseld about whether or not she can really have feelings for this ugly creature.
The plot itself is simple and well done enough but it did drag on for just a little too long. We all know youre gonna bang him Jule, stop denying it. Furthermore, stop acting like you dont like it even when its happening!
