to preface: i don't read romance books for astoundingly believable storylines. BUT, as someone who is dialled in to both figure skating and hockey, the amount of inaccuracies and suspension of belief i needed to have while reading the figure skating portions of the novel was hilariously ridiculous.
seriously, ending the book with charlie and alexa vying for an olympic run when 1. the ISU doesn't allow same sex pairs to compete, 2. they literally got their first gold medal last season at a NATIONAL event, and 3. they never competed on the JGP circuit or any challengers is a CRAZY choice.
still, the book was cute as hell and i loved both of the main characters. would recommend to friends looking for a lighthearted YA romance.
