Another ugh from me... while I had high hopes this series would get better as we go along, I don't think it is at all. I seriously cannot believe this is the same person who wrothe masterpiece that is Juniper Hill. Like, that can't be right. But it is. Anyway, Kaine was just horrible all around, throwing tantrums and being a total jerk just because he was tortured and sad and had bad things happen to him. Newsflash, this is not an excuse for you to mistreat people. It's just not. His anger would have had me running for me the hills, but somehow Piper thinks it's her duty on earth to "fix him". Insert eye roll here. And Piper... she did not deserve to be Kaine's punching bag. And "magic sperm"? Can we not? So many things I can say about this book but I'll just leave it at that. Read at your own risk.
