So, up until now I've only read the first two in the series. Fortunately, you are able to read any of them without reading the ones before, although like with any other similar series. you will know what couples get together from earlier books, because they are all friends, so of course are all mentioned in each other's books. So far, I would still say book 2 in the series, Friends Without Benefits, is my favorite. This one was as good as book one though, Neanderthal Seeks Human. In fact, with a kidnapping in this book, it is reminiscent of that first story as well. I really liked a lot about our main characters, Kat and Dan - the security man. Dan seemed like such a sweetheart, and it was so awesome to know that he was just as interested in Kat as she was in him. I loved that he got the wrong idea when she said she wasn't into monogamy after their night in Vegas, that he assumed she was into polyamory. LOL! That made for some fun at the beginning. But getting to Kat's real reason for why she said what she did to Dan made for some emotional parts of the story. In a way this made it a little slower for me. Still, I loved the friends and the humor that was in the book. And I look forward to going back and reading more of the books in the series as I get my hands on them. It's a great series, that I will definitely be recommending!
