feelinnocane 's review for:
Hawke
by Jescie Hall
Easy 4.5-Star Book. I was actually influenced to read this book because I kept seeing it everywhere, and it did not disappoint. We start off with a lovely, happy 'Christian?'—yes, we had to put it in quotes once you read the book, you will understand—couple, Nic and Patrick. Nic's world gets turned upside down when Hawke, a newly released hot man, moves in with them. Her whole world gets flipped as her boyfriend, who is constantly away on business, and this pull between her and Hawke starts to grow. Now, usually I am not one for reading about cheating, but trust the process. The character self-discovery, healing, and bonding in this book are phenomenal. It is well-paced and hot. All the hype around this book was true, and it is a HEA. The ending scene did have me feeling all girly; I will never repeat those words. 10 out of 10 would recommend
