The Patricia Fisher Mysteries
by Steve Higgs
I only made it 100 pages in. The first 70 pages the main character complains about being 50, being plump, how she used to be a dancer, and then waffles back and forth with either it's all her fault that her husband cheated, or it's both their fault.
She literally cries about her man cheating to everyone she meets, gets drunk, and complain about how much money she spent on the cruise.
I can't tell you anything else because that is ALL THAT'S HAPPENED. Slow build up, annoying characters, and obnoxiously written. Not for me.
