The Heirs
by Susan Rieger
Rupert Falkes has passed away leaving his large amount of money to his wife and five sons. Shortly after his death, another woman claims that Rupert was the father of her two sons and demands portions of the inheritance.
From there we are thrown into chapters that mainly focus on a different character, but still including others. We dive deep into the lives of Rupert's wife, Eleanor, their five sons, and even his relationship with this other woman.
Rieger does an amazing job of getting deep into most of the characters, and making them all different. They are each truly unique. I would completely classify this as a dysfunctional family book, but different than others. Would highly recommend.
