What an intense second chance romance that was almost entirely a grovel after the first few chapters. Love that for me (and all of you). I'm still dabbling in PNR and the dual nature of Una and her wolf coexisting together yet also sometimes being in opposition was really different for me, and felt fresh and unusual. I loved that Una's wolf was so standoffish to Killian (both the man AND his alpha wolf) and Killian's wolf was just a puppy for Una and panting for her wolf. Crawl Killian, crawl.

I don't want to give too much away, but this is a must read if you enjoy second chance, wolf shifters, and interesting world building. There's a lot of sequel bait for a lot of characters, and it was refreshing to see Cate C Wells continuing to portray romance characters that do have to work, and struggle a bit, to survive in the world EVEN IF they are mystical wolf shifters. Everything was a bit gritty and and sensually horny. so very horny.

I was a bit concerned we'd get actual wolf of wolf boning but thankfully it didn't quite go that far; I don't know if I'd like it (maybe??).
