More engaging than I expected, until about the last 3rd. Once the action ramped up, I thought the moral questions got left by the wayside. Still, for a 65-year-old book, less misogyny than I feared, so that's pretty good!
Points off for the sprinkling in of high-falutin' fancy words that seemed not to fit with David's education and speech patterns.
