Can I call a Stephen King book heartwarming? This books ending really did put a tear in my eye. I think this is more a wonderful coming of age story with some mystery served on the side. 

Stephen king packs some great character depth and messaging into a short (for him) book. Dev was such a relatable and lovable character. The setting of a small amusement  park by the beach  was wonderful 

Loved this and would totally recommend.  From start to finish I was hooked and I came for the plot but really I stayed for the characters.
