Justice League of America, Vol. 3: The Injustice League
by Dwayne McDuffie
This was like watching the Justice League cartoon. Fun and easy but nothing that'll stick.
So I guess after the backlash of identity crisis/tornado's path (I love both) they decided we needed to make this one more cheerful. Black Canary and Green arrow about to get married. Their friends gather around to see this and BAM the Injustice League begins to attack. First going after Firestorm and nearly killing him and then attacking everyone one by one. In a chase to see who will get the upper-hand on who first the Justice league will have to face all their greatest villains!
Good: The humor is pretty good. I really enjoy Batman in here because he's not such as sour puss. I also enjoyed watching everyone team up. Most people got to shine, especially Black Canary, red arrow, Jon as green lantern, and even firestorm. The two short stories in the back, while not amazing, serve as fun little stories as well.
Bad: The art isn't horrible but my gosh is it there to show off asses. I mean, not that I'm completely complaining. I love to see Black Canary and Wonder Woman's asses but still, it's like every single pose has their ass just popping out. And Diana's suit is like riding up her crotch extra hard here. Was little obvious. Also the villains ideas of taking over are just that, taking over. The grand scheme felt like a cartoon episode.
Overall while fun and enjoyable it lacked any real punch. However, in-between other books I'm reading this run might serve as a fun old school superhero romp between the more mature or dark tales. A 3 out of 5.
