Out of all of 'A Twisted Tale' books, this one is by far my favorite. While Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite stories in general, the overall twist to this particular story was one of my favorites. The story switches between Belle's and Maurice's point of view, with Belle's POV being in the present and Maurice's being in the past. It paints a picture of what exactly happened in the past and what lead up to the events of Belle and Maurice's adventure into the Beast's castle, except it's not exactly the story we all know and love.
