The Spirit in the Crypt (Jonny Roberts, #1)
by Alexander Lound
The Spirit in the Crypt was sent to me by the author, in exchange for an honest review.
I had no prior expectations for this books, which was really nice because I grew to love it the further in I got.
Jonny is a loveable protagonist, a teenage boy who’s made some questionable choices and he’s aware of it. Throughout the book, he matures a lot and it leaves the reader rooting for him and wanting the best for him.
As it’s a series, I’m really hoping we can get some more character development on the other key people in this book (Cassy, Stephen, Aaron).
I found the book to be really well paced and the scene description to be really vivid.
This was a really great read and I look forward to what the next book brings!
