4.5 Another amazing book by Reynolds for kids to read and relate to. Patty's dad died suddenly when she was 6 and her mom's health issues don't allow Patty and her sister to live with her anymore. They live with their uncle and aunt and Patty has a lot of anger and sadness - but she pushes it down into her legs and takes it to the track. She runs for her sanity, for her mom, for her sister and her dad. Along the way she begins to realize that she is not the only person who has had struggles and pain.
